Modern Talking был немецким дуэтом, сформированным в 1984 году. Он стал одним из самых ярких представителей евродиско и популярен благодаря своему неповторимому звучанию. Лучшие песни включают “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul”, “Brother Louie”, “Cheri, Cheri Lady” и “Geronimo’s Cadillac”.

What a compelling story, and what a consummate performer. Elizabeth knows the power not only of movement, but of stillness and silence. What a gift to see it directly after Genie Cartier’s The Curve. Two marvelous locals continue to inspire, even in this ravaging artistic climate.

Darkly comedic, well-acted tale by an accomplished performer. Filled with all the emotional depth and memorable characters one hopes for in a Fringe performance. You will be glad you went!

I enjoyed how the performer was able to blend into the different characters presented in this intriguing show , She had a commanding presence and moved gracefully about the stage

BENJAMIN’S PASSION is a not exactly the mystery thriller the description might lead you to believe, but it is a well told story of one woman’s transition from semi-successful up and comer to past her prime stalwart. Sometimes funny, sometimes philosophical, Elizabeth Du Val’s yarn of being a dancing chorine who never quite lands the career she aspires to is a familiar showbiz fable- until it gets a little weird. And then gets weirder. And yet, somehow, it all seems familiar? Maybe because if you’ve been in the performing arts for more than a decade you “get it” all even if you haven’t heard it all, because all of our stories are kind of the same. Still, Du Val’s excellent characterizations, smoothly transitioned between, give her anecdotes just enough bite that the final few moments of pure dance delivers with Bonafide Fang while also having a profound empathy for the titular anti-hero.

Engaging and heartfelt. This piece shows the passion that motivates someone to enter the ballet world, and the anguish a dancer or director faces when they can no longer participate. Beautifully performed.

Don’t miss this one! It’s a wild (true) story told in such a beautiful way. Elizabeth’s dancerly control of her body perfectly accents the shifts between characters, tones and plot points. Beautiful show!

A wonderful time! It was really an amazing story and her physicality was incredible. Each character came to life on stage through her voice and body. Moments of laughter as well as truly raw emotion. And wonderful movement and dance throughout.
